Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe to get $200,000 to build farmer's market pavilion

MT. PLEASANT (WJRT) - (07/23/14) - The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe is getting $200,000 from the federal government to build a farmer's market pavilion.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the funding comes from a rural grant program.

The tribe will add the pavilion to the current Mt. Pleasant Farmer's Market.

The project is expected to create about 33 jobs.
