January "Starting a Business" Trainings

Oak Business Center in Flint
FLINT, MI​ - "Starting a Business" will be presented at the Oak Business Center in Flint via classroom presentation on ​ Wednesday, January 18 from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. This workshop will also be presented via webinar on Thursday, January 26 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

"Starting a Business" is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. This introductory training covers the process of starting and operating, evaluating market potential for products/services, costs and financing options, plus business planning. Every registered classroom attendee will receive a copy of the 60+ page book, “Guide to Starting and Operating a Small Business.”

There is no fee for the “Starting a Business” seminar but advance and separate registration for each individual is required.

Un tour del mundo hispano. (A tour of the hispanic world) Education trend (PBL) Project Based Learning- Second year Spanish Language students are presenting a "tour" for middle school students of the Spanish Speaking world. High school students transform new auxiliary gymnasium with kiosks that represent countries where Spanish is official language. Sixth graders will have "passports" and go through customs...ready to tour Latin America and Spain.
