JR’s Thursday Night Weather Report
Mother Nature hit the weather grand slam Thursday. Bright sunshine, light breezes, low humidity levels, and comfortable temperatures combined to make for a very nice day across all of Mid-Michigan. With lots of starlight and calm wind conditions overnight, temperatures will settle into the low, to middle 50s. Our “normal” low is 59-degrees.
Friday is shaping up to be another drop-dead gorgeous day. In fact, it may turn out a little bit better with more sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures expected. By Saturday, winds will be turning in from the south-southwest. This will allow temperatures to move easily into the 80s. We will begin the day with bright sunshine, but the trend for the afternoon will be for some clouds to move in.
Sunday will feature more clouds, higher humidity levels, and some scattered showers and thundershowers. The day shouldn’t be a complete washout, but you will want to keep your umbrella handy. Temperatures Sunday will move into the middle 80s despite the rain. Showers and thundershowers will remain a possibility for Monday too, as highs again cruise through the 80s. - JR
