$2 million Powerball ticket sold in Mid-Michigan

CLARE COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - Someone in Mid-Michigan is an instant millionaire.

The Michigan Lottery says someone bought a Powerball ticket that won $2 million at KC"s Lake Thirteen Party Store on West Surrey Road in Farwell north of Mount Pleasant. The winning ticket matched all five white balls in Wednesday evening’s drawing -- 14-18-36-49-67

The lucky winner should contact the Michigan Lottery at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim their prize in Lansing. The winning ticket is valid for one year before the prize is forfeited.

Powerball tickets cost $2 apiece and a “Power Play” option that multiplies prizes by up to $2 million can be added for another dollar.
