Saginaw’s first baby arrives less than an hour into 2021
Baby Claire Moody entered the world at 12:53 a.m. on New Year’s Day

SAGINAW, Mich. (WJRT) - Covenant HealthCare welcomed its first baby of 2021 less than an hour into the new year.
Stacey and Brandon Moody welcomed baby girl Claire at 12:53 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Little Claire weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches long.
The Moodys received a congratulations basket, which Covenant gives away every year to the first baby born in its birth center in Saginaw.
