FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - A few rain showers are possible this evening and into the overnight hours. Unfortunately they will not be for everyone. Areas east of Flint / Saginaw and into the Thumb have the best chance for some beneficial moisture. Don’t get too excited though, many areas won’t even get an quarter of an inch. Low temperatures will be warmer, yet still comfortable, falling into the upper 50s near 60 degrees by Thursday morning.

Thursday we’ll have partly sunny skies with a few sprinkles possible into the afternoon. High temperatures will begin to warm up even more, heading up to around 80 degrees. Winds will be light out of the west at 5-10mph.

Friday another small chance for a spotty shower moves in, however, many of us can expect to stay dry. Temperatures will be in the middle 80s with gusty winds out of the southwest. There will be virtually no humidity so expect the fire danger to rise rapidly before the weekend.

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will all have identical weather. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s with sunshine and a strong southwest wind. At times gusts could easily be over 30mph. As folks head to the water, there will likely be boating hazards on the larger bodies of water. Humidity will be very low through the weekend with a surge in moisture coming Monday. You’ll really notice it being quite uncomfortable into next week.

Next week we still have upper 80s and lower 90s in the forecast with humidity. The one good thing about the muggy conditions will be a daily chance for storms.
