MUSKEGON, Mich. (WJRT) - A Waterford man is proudly showing off the oldest car riding along the 11th Back to the Bricks Promo Tour this weekend.

John McKeown acquired the 1930 Ford coupe in 1990s and rebuilt it from the body up. The project took 13 years before he completed it in 2003.

McKeown has taken part in the Back to the Bricks Promo Tour every year since 2015.

The tour left the ELGA Credit Union branch in Flint Township on Friday and arrived at its first stop outside Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort that evening. The tour’s more than 300 cars traveled north to Boyne City for the weekend before the third stop in Cadillac on Monday.

Tuesday’s second to last stop on Western Avenue in downtown Muskegon took place in the evening before the tour heads back east to St. Johns for the final stop on Wednesday evening.
