ARENAC COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - An Arenac County man faces nine charges in connection with a hit-and-run crash, where he left a teen badly injured.

Investigators say 40-year-old Jeremy Pritchard is accused of backing his pickup truck into a 19-year-old intentionally during what was described as a domestic incident at a home in Omer on Wednesday night. The teen remained hospitalized in critical condition Friday.

Pritchard allegedly left the scene before police arrived. His truck was found a few hours later and he was arrested early Friday morning.

Pritchard is charged with attempted murder and several other crimes related to the incident. He remained in the Arenac County Jail on a combined $3 million bond Friday evening.

Pritchard could face up to life in prison if convicted of attempted murder.
