(03/24/15) - Congressman Dan Kildee is calling on Capitol Hill to help Flint get through its water worries.

Kildee asked a U.S. House committee to support funding two federal water loans to help improve Flint's aging water system.

The Clean Water State Revolving Fund would help pay for upgrades and replacements to pipelines, treatment plants and sewer lines, among other things.

Water consulting firm Veolia North America, says it would cost about $3 million to make those improvements.
