Dimes for Diapers: Lake Fenton

By  |

LAKE FENTON (WJRT) - (04/18/19) - Schools are sure getting creative collecting small donations that make a big difference for The Flint Diaper Bank.

Who wouldn't want to make a donation in exchange for a chocolate covered strawberry made by these sweet Lake Fenton students?

Annika and Zoey Ryckman raised $167 dollars selling them at Community Threads of Fenton.

Lake Fenton also had a first grade student, Cole Sawatzki, who with friends collected regular ole' rocks and sold them for Dimes for Diapers.

Torrey Hill third grader Anthony Maser is making and selling parachord bracelets for the cause.

We want to thank all the students, parents and staff at Torrey Hill and West Shore Elementary for all their hard work helping collect dimes for diapers.

The ABC12 Diaper Drive will be held May 31 at the ELGA Credit Union in Burton, rain or shine!
