Dimes for Diapers: Springview Elementary

By  |

FLUSHING (WJRT) - (04/22/19) - The change counters have been very busy at schools across Genesee County adding up donations from the area's youngest donors... dimes, nickels, quarters and even dollars for diapers.

Fourth graders from Springview Elementary in Flushing are counting the change collected by each classroom to figure out which grade is in the lead. The winning classroom in each participating school within the district will get a pizza party!

It's really exciting to see all the students' hard work and generosity adding up.

The totals are still being tallied and we will crown our community champion during the ABC12 Diaper Drive at ELGA Credit Union in Burton on May 31.

ABC12's Angie Hendershot will visit the top three schools who collect the most during the "Dimes for Diapers" collection drive.

The winners will be featured in our ABC12 Good Kids report during the day of the diaper drive.
