Arrest made in 2016 deadly Flat Lot shooting in downtown Flint

FLINT (WJRT) - (8/7/2018) - Crime Stoppers says a fugitive wanted in a deadly shooting in downtown Flint is now in custody.

Police have been looking for Stephen "Bread" Gilbert in connection with the Oct. 23, 2016, shooting death of Donte Williams.

Investigators say Williams and another person were shot during an argument on the Flat Lot near Saginaw and First streets. The second victim survived.

Felony warrants out for Gilbert include homicide, committing a felony while armed with a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and a parole violation.

Police have not said when or where Gilbert was arrested.
