GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP (WJRT) (1/17/2019) - Police say drivers are safely navigating the new roundabout at Hill and Belsay roads in the six months since it opened.

The Grand Blanc Township Police Department reported six crashes directly related to the roundabout. Three were caused by failure to yield, two were rear-end collisions and driver tried to go straight through it.

Police say officers on patrol are still seeing too many near misses in the roundabout. They advise drivers to look left and yield left when traversing the intersection.

Drivers in the roundabout have the right of way. Anyone entering the roundabout must yield to vehicles already in the intersection or proceed through without stopping.
