AMBER Alert canceled for missing Detroit 2-week-old: baby found safe, suspect still at large

DETROIT (WJRT) (01/13/18) - The AMBER Alert regarding a missing 2-week-old infant from Detroit has been canceled.

Detroit Police say the baby was found safe; however, the suspect is still at large.


Authorities are searching for a 2-week-old infant who police say was forcefully taken by her father early Saturday morning.

An Amber alert was just issued for Bella Osterman. Police say her mom would not let Bella's dad, Cordney Osterman, inside her home on the 3300 block of Garfield in Detroit after 1 a.m. He forced his way in and left on foot with the baby.

Bella had on a pink onesie and a diaper when she was taken.

Police say Cordney is 23-years-old, medium build with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, black sweatpants and burgundy shoes.
