ARGENTINE TOWNSHIP (WJRT) (09/26/18) - Charges are filed against the Linden man accused of shooting and killing his friend in Argentine Township over the weekend.

Police say the two were playing with a 9mm handgun at a residence in the 16000 block of Seymour Road, when 22-year-old Floyd Blalock Jr. inadvertently touched the trigger and caused the gun to fire.

The bullet hit 28-year-old Christopher Baldwin in the shoulder. He died at the scene, according to the Argentine Township Police Department.

Blalock was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of second-degree murder and a separate weapons charge. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.
