SAGINAW (WJRT) (2/13/2018) - The Saginaw Police Department saturated a neighborhood on the city's east side after someone shot at a school bus with students inside.
The shooting happened around 4 p.m. in the area of South 22nd and Cherry streets. A back window on the bus was broken out.
No serious injuries were reported at the scene and police could not immediately confirm any suspect information.
Students on the bus were loaded onto another and taken from the scene. The bus involved in the shooting was towed away and police began clearing the scene by 5 p.m.
During the investigation police escorted a 13-year-old boy out of a home in handcuffs and placed him in the back of a police vehicle. His grandmother said he shot his BB gun at the back of a school bus for fun.
Police confirm it was a pellet gun and they're in talks with the teen and an adult who was in his home at the time.
