Busy first week for new low cost animal clinic in Flint

FLINT (WJRT) - (11/18/17) - It's been a busy first week for Flint's newest animal clinic! The staff at All About Animals have been working diligently to get the place running smoothly all the while welcoming animals for wellness visits.

We were invited in as they were gearing up to open. We were there on their first day of operation, Tuesday, November 14. Now, on their first weekend servicing the Flint area, we were happy to check in with them once more.

Debbie Burns, clinic director, says they're already filling up for surgeries. Those are set to begin November 29. Surgeries will be performed two days a week as the clinic builds its staff. Meanwhile, they have been offering affordable wellness services since their doors opened less than a week ago.

"We've been doing wellness," Burns said. "We started our wellness hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also on Saturday, and we have seen animals come in, which is awesome."

On Tuesday and Thursday the clinic is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday they're open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"We've had a lot of phone calls," Burns said. "A lot of people just calling us and thanking us for coming to the area."

Spay/neuter services are $40 for cats and $80 for dogs.

The clinic is located on West Atherton Road and Grand Traverse Street. Check out the related link section of this article for more information.
