MT. PLEASANT (WJRT) - (12/06/18) - Central Michigan University is investing big money into improving the residence life experience for students on campus.
University trustees approved putting $13 million towards their first installment of the plan.
It's part of a three phase effort totaling $76 million.
The first phase of funding will include modernizing the North Residence Hall Complex and improving the South and East halls as well.
They'll also demolish Barnes Hall. It's the only remaining residence hall on campus with community bathrooms.
