(11/19/16) - The Heritage High School marching band was one of a handful of bands that took part in the 39th annual Christmas Parade in Saginaw.

The theme this year was "Christmas in Michigan".

Dozens of entries spent more than an hour marching from the heart of downtown Saginaw, along Washington Avenue and ending near the water treatment plant.

The parade is just one part of the annual "Holidays in the Heart of the City" celebration that kicked off Friday night in Saginaw.
