Flint fire crews work on early morning house fire

FLINT (WJRT) - (12/7/2018) - Smoke could be seen billowing from a single family home in Flint early Friday morning.

ABC12 crews were told a firefighter fell through as the staircase collapsed in the fire. The firefighter is ok.

Crews were called to the 2800 block of Stevenson Street off Ballenger, just before 6:45 this morning. They were able to get hoses into the home through windows after the stairs collapsed.

We're told the fire is it's melting the siding off other homes. No one was inside the house when it caught fire.
