SANILAC COUNTY (WJRT) (2/11/2019) - Police arrested a Croswell-Lexington High School student on Friday after finding an alleged "kill list" online of people to harm.
Croswell-Lexington Superintendent Steve Gilbertson said in a letter to the community that the student made posts on social media about plans to harm other students.
"Specifically, the student posted a kill list and would be thinking about whether to act on that list," he wrote in the letter.
The Croswell Police Department and Sanilac County Sheriff's Office worked together on the investigation before the student was arrested Friday. Police searched the student's home and didn't find any weapons.
The district obtained a court order on Friday prohibiting the student from having any contact with anyone associated with Croswell-Lexington Community Schools.
It was unclear whether the student was facing formal charges on Monday.
