FLINT (WJRT) (7/24/19) - Democrat presidential candidates Cory Booker and Beto O'Rourke are scheduled to host campaign events in Flint on Wednesday afternoon.
Booker is planning an invitation-only roundtable to hear about Flint's main concerns and top priorities. He will also share his experience as a council member and mayor in Newark, New Jersey.
The meeting is closed to the public.
O'Rourke's schedule includes a tour of 100K Ideas in downtown Flint and a town hall meeting at the Ferris Wheel Innovation Center on Saginaw Street from 4 to 7 p.m.
He plans to focus on the ongoing impact of the Flint water crisis at the meeting.

Several Democratic presidential candidates are in Michigan on Wednesday to speak at the NAACP convention in Detroit. Twenty of the Democratic candidates will be back in Detroit for a two-night debate on July 30 and 31.
