(12/13/2017) - Democrats are again trying to repeal Michigan's 'Right to Work' law.
State Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich of Flint introduced the legislation Tuesday. In a statement, he says the law has diminished workers' freedom to negotiate for better jobs and stronger paychecks.
The release cites a study by the Illinois Economic Policy Institute. It found that people in 'Right to Work' states make significantly less than those without 'Right to Work.'
The bills have been sent to committee for consideration.
