Dr. Hanna-Attisha's book selected as "Great Michigan Read"

FLINT (WJRT) - (4/25/19) - A book about Flint's water emergency -- has been selected as this year's "Great Michigan Read."

'What the Eyes Don't See' by Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha recounts her role in uncovering the city's widespread lead exposure.

The "Great Michigan Read" program kicks off in September and runs through fall of 2020.

Organizers says the goal is to give Michiganders a deeper understanding of their state through reading and discussion.
