Exchange Club honors "Officers of the Year"

SAGINAW (WJRT) - (04/09/19) - The Exchange Club of Saginaw recognized the men and women of law enforcement who went above and beyond in the past year.

"This is just a simple way for the Exchange Club to say 'thank you' to those individuals that are on a daily basis are out there putting their life on the line," explained Saginaw Township Police Chief Don Pussehl, who also serves on the Exchange Club.

The service organization focuses on Americanism, youth development, community service and child abuse prevention.

Recognizing police officers for their hard work is an annual event in Saginaw.

This year eight officers from several departments were recognized for their unique contributions.

This year's honorees include:

-Officer Glen Hill, Saginaw Township Police Department
-D/Sgt. John Kellerman, MSP Crime Laboratory – Bridgeport
-Offficer Terrance Moore, Saginaw Police Department
-D/Sgt. Christopher Siegert, Michigan State Police Tri-City Post
-Deputy Addison Burton, Saginaw County Sheriff's Office
-Chief Steven Kocsis, Thomas Township Police Department
-Det. Brandon Wilson, BAYANET/Saginaw Township Police Department
-Agent Troy Wohlfert, FBI
