Hearing underway to decide if MSU's former president will stand trial

EATON COUNTY (WJRT) -- (4/8/2019) -- The former President of Michigan State University could find out tomorrow if she'll stand trial for lying to police in the Larry Nassar Investigation.
Lou Anna Simon was in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.
Her former co-workers testified about what they say Simon knew about the Nassar scandal.
At the center of the case is a May 2018 interview with state police.
In that interview Simon told investigators she was aware in 2014 that a sports medicine doctor was subject to a review, but said she didn't know the nature of the complaint.
Tuesday a judge is expected to decide if Simon will stand trial.
