Flint (WJRT) - (8-8-17) - A federal judge has dismissed a case against Flint and mayor Karen Weaver.
It was brought by former city administrator Natasha Henderson who said she was fired for saying Weaver was redirecting water relief donations to her campaign fund.
Mayor Weaver has responded to the ruling saying, “I am thankful the case has been dismissed. As I said from the beginning, the accusations made were ridiculous and completely false. I am relieved to be vindicated of these outrageous allegations. It is sad when people do things to try to assassinate a person’s character, but I am grateful the truth has finally been revealed.”
