GRAND BLANC (WJRT) (11/18/18) -- It's been almost a year since the passing of the City of Grand Blanc Police Department's Tammy Bice.

Bice was found outside her residence in the 4500 block of North Belsay Road around 4 a.m. Nov. 29, 2017.

The Genesee Township Police Department said she died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

To honor her service, her K-9, Bice, will be donated to another law enforcement agency as a dual purpose police K-9.

You can do your part in helping to honor K-9 Bice and Tammy by stopping in at the Bark-A-Bout store in Shelby Township Dec. 2 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

That's when a bulletproof vest fundraiser for K-9 Bice will be held and you can meet her!
