FLINT (WJRT) (01/06/17) - It's been nearly a year in the making and now the Flint Podcasting Company is up and running.
It's also ready to be downloaded.
Flint Podcasting is housed in what's being called Audio Alley, a recording and broadcasting hub on East Court Street, near Dort Highway.
Startup money came through GreenLight Flint and the University of Michigan Flint's entrepreneurial contests.
Founder Stacie Sherman has six podcasts in production there right now and she's looking for more hosts and business owners interested in creating shows and digital content.
"I want to be more than a podcast. I want to be a whole network of podcasts. I want to be able to help other people start their podcasts. I have three studios in here,” Sherman said.
Audio Alley is also the studio home for the Tom Sumner radio program.
