MC Sports closes after filing for bankruptcy

(05/07/17) - MC Sports stores have closed their doors for the final time.
The chain's last day of business was Sunday, May 7.
There were stores in both Grand Blanc and Mt. Pleasant.
MC Sports filed for bankruptcy in February and began a liquidation sale.
Reports say it owes millions to big name labels like Nike.
Layoffs were already underway.
