ISABELLA COUNTY (WJRT) (3/15/2019) - Michigan State Police troopers from the Mount Pleasant Post are working to return property stolen from an Isabella County storage facility to its rightful owners.

Thieves broke into 16 units at a storage facility in Union Township on Jan. 25. They stole a variety of property from the units.

Michigan State Police did not identify the name of the facility that was broken into.

Investigators identified one of the suspects and arrested them after a traffic stop in Gratiot County on Feb. 1. Several search warrants executed after the arrest led police to some of the stolen property.

A second suspect was arrested on Wednesday and police recovered more stolen property.

Renters in the Union Township storage facility are asked to contact the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant Post to identify and stolen or missing property.
