LEXINGTON, Ky. (WJRT) (01/06/19) - A Michigan family of five all died in a car crash in Lexington, Kentucky, along with the alleged drunk driver who hit them head-on.
Police say a pickup truck was driving the wrong way on I-75 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday when it collided with the family's SUV. The SUV burst into flames after the collision.
Investigators say Issam and Rima Abbas and their children, Ali, Isabella, and Giselle were killed.
They were reportedly driving home to Northville after a family vacation in Florida.
The 41-year-old Kentucky man driving the pickup was also killed.
Police believe he was driving under the influence.
