MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) (1/17/2019) - Two Mid-Michigan men have been charged with possessing and circulating child pornography on the internet.
Both of their arrests came after investigations involving the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit. Search warrants led police to electronics in their homes, which investigators say contained child pornography.
Investigators arrested 18-year-old Jonathan Murray-Eichler of Dryden Township in Lapeer County for allegedly uploading child sexually abusive material to the internet.
He was charged with four counts of possessing child sexually abusive material and arraigned Wednesday in Lapeer County's 71st District Court.
Investigators also arrested 35-year-old Seth Mose of Midland for possession and distribution of child sexually abusive material and for coercing of a minor.
Police say Mose was uploading child sexually abusive material to the internet. He was arraigned Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Bay City on federal charges.
