(12/13/2018) - A Mt. Morris Township firefighter has been accused of criminal sexual conduct involving a young girl.

An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for the 33-year-old. Court records show he could be formally charged tomorrow with first-degree and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The Mt. Morris Township Police Department responded to the initial complaint on Dec. 8. Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said the victim is a friend of the suspect's family.

The firefighter was not identified because he has not been arraigned.

Mt. Morris Township fire officials just learned of the charges Thursday and could not immediately comment on the suspect's status with the fire department.
