BRIDGEPORT TOWNSHIP (WJRT) - (01/01/2019) - A man walking along a busy road in Bridgeport Township was hit by a woman driving a minivan with her children inside.

Tuesday night, Bridgeport Township Police Sgt. Erik Skabardis said officers responded to a call around 7 p.m. involving a man being hit on Williamson Road.

Skabardis said the minivan, driven by a mother with two children inside, was southbound just past Cora Street when the collision took place.

The victim, whose name was not released Tuesday, is believed to be in his mid-20s or 30s. Skabardis said he was walking along Williamson Road, dressed in dark clothing.
