(6/30/16)- If you drive down Berberovich Drive and turn on Lessandro Street in Saginaw Township this week, get ready to see an ambitious little entrepreneur.

10 year old Samantha Stricker is selling lemonade for 25 cents. The reason? To help veterans at the VA hospital.

“Last year I did a lemonade stand for a family in Clio. And it was really fun last year so, it made me want to do it again this year,” Samantha said.

Samantha said nearly 50 people came out to her lemonade stand. This year, she wants it to be even bigger. Samantha feels it’s important we give back to our veterans.

“They serve our country and if they get hurt, they need to get up and go out there again and serve our country and we need to help them.”

If you would like to meet Samantha, she will be out Friday selling her lemonade in front of her home from 12pm to 5pm.
