SAGINAW (WJRT) (3/5/2019) - The 27-year-old accused of shooting and killing Moeniesha Ross in Saginaw over the weekend was arraigned Tuesday on murder charges.
Patrick Martin Jr. is facing a total of six felony charges:
-- Open murder.
-- Assaulting a pregnant woman causing miscarriage or stillbirth.
-- Being a felon in possession of a firearm.
-- Three counts of carrying a firearm while committing a felony.
Martin faces up to life in prison with no chance of parole if convicted of the murder charge. He remained in the Saginaw County Jail with no bond after arraignment while awaiting a court hearing on March 12.
Police say the shooting in the 2700 block of Weiss Street around 11 p.m. Friday was related to a domestic dispute. Ross, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested Martin after the incident.
