GLADWIN COUNTY (WJRT) (12/28/2017) - A second Gladwin man has been arrested in connection with the Dec. 22 shooting death of a 27-year-old man in Hay Township.

The Gladwin County Sheriff's Office arrested 24-year-old Dominick Harmon on Wednesday and charged him with a felony of lying to police officers investigating a murder case.

Harmon also had an outstanding arrest warrant on an unrelated charge from the Gladwin City Police Department.

Police caught up with Harmon in the city of Standish. He remained in custody Thursday at the Gladwin County Jail on $5,000 bond after being arraigned.

Tre Friend, 21, is facing several charges, including open murder, in the Dec. 22 shooting death of 27-year-old Blake Vansnepson, whose body was found lying on the end of a driveway on Hay Road.

Police say Friend and Vansnepson got into a verbal argument, which escalated into a physical altercation and then gunshots around 7:30 p.m. Friend remained in the jail Thursday on $1 million bond.
