FLINT (WJRT)- (7/21/19) - It was a chance to celebrate some good clean fun.
A softball tournament was among several activities at the 25th Annual Soberfest celebration in Flint.
The event was held Sunday at the Union City Ball Fields on Torrey Road.
It was a family fun day filled with tons of activities, including face painting, a magic show, and even karaoke.
While the main event was the 16-team softball tournament, there was also assistance for those looking to begin recovery.
"What's really wonderful about it is that it allows other people in recovery to see they're not alone," said retiree Tom McCale.
The UAW Local 598 Flint organized the free event.
