MIDLAND (WJRT) (12/4/2017) - A St. Louis man died Saturday from injuries sustained in a Midland County crash four days earlier.

Jarred Bott, 22, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze south on Coleman Road near West Brooks Road in Jasper Township around 11:45 p.m. Nov. 29 when he started drifting out of his lane, according to the Midland County Sheriff's Office.

Bott crossed the center line and went off the left shoulder, where he drove into the ditch and slammed into a tree.

Bott was airlifted from the scene to MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland and then airlifted again to Hurley Medical Center in Flint, where he was pronounced dead on Saturday.

Police say Bott was wearing a seat belt and there was no evidence that alcohol or drugs may have been a factor in the crash.
