FLINT (WJRT) - (09/30/17) - The Serenity House of Flint held a walk and rally hoping to raise awareness for people in addiction recovery.
The goal of the Flint Recovery Walk and Rally was to take the guilt and shame out of addiction recovery.
The country is facing an opiate addiction epidemic, according to organizers.
It's estimated 155 people a day die from overdoses.
The Serenity House has been repairing a home on Church Street in Flint to help people in recovery.
They hope the project will wrap up in early spring.
