MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) (3/12/2018) - The weekend turned violent around Flint and Saginaw, with 11 people shot in four separate incidents in both cities.
No fatalities were reported from any of the incidents, but at least one victim was listed in critical condition Monday.
Saginaw: 4 a.m. Sunday
Five people were shot at a party in Saginaw early Sunday.
All five were on the northeast corner of Hess and Cumberland streets near the Buena Vista Township border when gunfire erupted around 4 a.m.
Police say all victims all were males and all were in stable condition on Monday.
No arrests were announced as of Monday morning.
Flint: 3:25 a.m. Sunday
Two people were shot in a vehicle on Dupont Street in Flint early Sunday.
A man and woman showed up at the Emergency Department and Hurley Medical Center around 3:25 a.m. with gunshot wounds. Hospital staff then called police.
The man was listed in critical condition Monday while the woman was listed in good condition.
The Flint Police Department located the alleged shooting scene in the 800 block of Dupont Street. Multiple shell casings were located in the area.
Flint: 10 p.m. Saturday
Three people were wounded in a drive-by shooting on Flint's north side late Saturday.
All three victims were at a home on Esther Street near Gillespie Avenue around 10 p.m. when a vehicle drove by and the occupants opened fire on a house.
The Flint Police Department, Genesee County Sheriff's Office and Michigan State Police all responded to the scene.
Authorities did not release any information on the victims' conditions or any suspects by Monday morning.
Saginaw: 3 a.m. Saturday
A Saginaw woman is recovering after being a shot in the stomach early Saturday morning.
Michigan State Police say the shooting took place outside of a community center on the 3100 block of Russell Street.
Investigators say the 24-year-old victim was at a large party going on at Samaritas In Home Services when someone started shooting. Detectives found multiple shell casings outside the building.
Police did not announce any arrests in the case on Saturday.
All four cases remain under investigation. Anyone with information on any of the shootings is asked to call the Flint Police Department, Saginaw Police Department, Michigan State Police or Crime Stoppers.
