BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP (WJRT) (11/5/2018) - A 41-year-old woman was arraigned on a murder charge Monday after allegedly running down her cousin with a vehicle over the weekend.

Akesia Bell is charged with open murder in the death of 43-year-old Cortney Noel. Police say Bell hit and killed Noel with a vehicle Saturday morning on 28th Street between Janes Avenue and Cherry Street.

Investigators believe a family dispute happened before the crash. Bell and Noel are cousins, according to the Buena Vista Township Police Department.

Bell remained in custody Monday evening without bond.
