(10/19/17) - Investigators say a Mount Morris man was killed after rocks were thrown from an I-75 overpass.The sheriff's office says it's investigating the case as a possible homicide.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on I-75 south at Dodge Road in Vienna Township. Deputies say the victim was riding in a van when a rock came through the windshield.

The freeway was shut down a short time later. A K-9 unit and Michigan State Police helicopter were brought in to investigate.

The sheriff's office is asking the community for dash cam footage or home surveillance footage from the area. It's interested in video captured between 7 and 8:30 pm.
