Job Summary: Position reports to Creative Services Director. In this creative position you will write, produce, shoot, and edit News topical promotional announcements, brand image campaigns, social/digital messaging, and sales marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
o Strong editing skills
o Conceptualize, write, produce and edit creative campaigns for news, programming, contests, events, and sales
o Must be able to manage all aspects of the promotions process including shooting, lighting, graphics, videography, non-linear editing, and post production
o Writing, producing marketing content for digital and social media platforms
o Multitask while under tight deadlines
o Assist with promotional events including set-up, overseeing operations, and tear down
o Local tagging of promos for network and syndicated
o Other duties as assigned
o A positive personality and ability to work with others as a team

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
o Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator)
o Experience in Avid non-linear editing required
o Knowledge of cameras and shooting video
o Previous television production required
o 3D motion graphic preferred
o Strong communication and organizational skills
o Experience producing topical and image spots/campaigns for a local news broadcast affiliate
o Basic exposure to shooting techniques: shot composition, focus, flow and lighting
o Four year degree in related field in video production or equivalent experience.
o Ability to carry up to 25 lbs.
o Must have a great eye for cinematography and design, advanced editing and graphic skills
o A clean, excellent driving record is required
