FLINT (WJRT) - (02/20/16) Those in Flint looking to recycle their water bottles got a little help Saturday from the city's youth.

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint teamed up with Comcast and accepted empty water bottles, while providing information about recycling.

It all took place at the Boys and Girls Club on Averill Rd.

Plenty of kids also helped out to donate water.

"So today we have 100 volunteers out who are doing a one stop shop for Flint residents. So they drive through, they get a recycling bag with some recycling information and how they can dispose of all the water bottles that they are getting. They can also sign up for curb side recycling from the state and we'll make sure that they actually get curb side recycling.” Said Kimberly Vernon of Comcast.

Vernon says they had almost 100 cars stop by and they are planning another similar event on April 30.
