Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint registration drive begins

FLINT (WJRT) - (09/02/16) - While many are focused on making sure they pick up those last-minute school supplies, there are others who are hard at work already to make sure your kids have a great year.

The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint is starting their registration drive for its after-school programs.

With the program beginning on Sept. 12, the club could still use school supplies.

The club serves kids across the county between seven and 17 years old, and when they age out, they're welcomed back as a volunteer.

The Boys and Girls Club works with schools to get scholarships for youth to attend the program, so cost is never an issue and the focus can stay on helping children learn and grow even after their school day has ended.

If you'd like to help, you can drop off school supplies or donations at the Boys and Girls Club.

To register for the program, you can call or stop by the club.
