FLINT (WJRT) - (03/16/16) - For a second time FEMA has rejected Michigan's request for federal aid to help with Flint's Water Emergency.
Shortly after declaring a state of Emergency in January Governor Rick Snyder requested help from the federal government.
They did provide money for direct aid to help provide filters and bottled water. But the larger disaster request that would provide aid to individuals was denied because the water crisis is considered man made and doesn't fit FEMA's disaster definition.
Snyder called the latest denial disappointing.
