FLINT (WJRT) - (03/16/16) - A group from Ohio State University delivered water to Flint on Wednesday.
The students and staff from the College of Social Work dropped off more than 10,000 pounds of water at Catholic Charities.
The group partnered with Kroger in a student-sponsored water drive earlier this month, putting the Buckeye-Wolverine rivalry to rest and coming together to make a difference.
"I thought about, 'Wow, it's Michigan. Do we really like them because of the football team?' It was, you know, they don't have water and at the time I was thinking about this I was like, 'What all do I use water for' and that kind of brought me back into reality," said Terry Taylor, of Ohio State University College of Social Work.
The group also made a monetary donation to Catholic Charities.
