DAVISON (WJRT) - (12/05/15) - There may be a lack of snow on the ground, but Christmas parades aren't missing a beat.
Santa made a visit to Davison Saturday morning to see all the good boys and girls.
Main Street is where famous holiday characters, community players and members of the police and fire departments interacted with families.
Parades like this create special memories for the little ones like two-year-old Madeline.
"Very exciting she's excited about the Christmas tree this year, and the snowmen and getting to see everything for the first time through her is so exciting, just wants to make us get involved in these different family events," said the mother of the Walczak family from Davison.
"We like to go get hot chocolate and have candy canes and stuff like that," said Faith Mitchell of Davison.
Although it wasn't freezing, guests were treated to hot chocolate, popcorn and lots of candy.
